Privacy Policy
Chomp is a snakes and ladders game for iPhone and iPad made by Kin Clark Perez.
The short version
Chomp does not collect, store, share or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
What stays on your device
Chomp saves a few game preferences on your device so they are remembered next time: sound and music on or off, number of players, game mode, level, difficulty and roll controls. These never leave your device and are deleted when you delete the app.
Motion sensor
When you choose "Shake" to roll, Chomp reads your device's motion sensor to animate the dice. This happens only on your device while you play. Motion data is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
Same Wi-Fi play
When you host or join a Same Wi-Fi game, Chomp talks directly to the other devices on your local network to share dice rolls and the name you type in. Nothing is sent to the internet or to us, and nothing is kept after the game ends.
This website
The playable demo on this site runs entirely in your browser. If you allow motion access to shake to roll, that data stays on your device. Your sound on or off choice is remembered in your browser only. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
Children
Chomp is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
